Our design and development team keep a close eye on latest trends in apparel, fabric, fabric/ garment finishes, trims & accessories. Our designers work closely with our clients and provide them with a variety of services from creating spec to designing a complete range of products. Our team consists of experienced graphic designer supported by a sampling unit with skilled pattern masters, technical people and tailors.
Our in-house pattern maker will create the blueprint for your product. If necessary, the pattern maker can grade your designs to create standardized sizes for your product. Patterns are drafted and digitized using PAD software and provided to each client, to use as they please. Our experienced Sample Makers cut and sew your garments by hand to give you your first look at your design. Once the perfect sew sample is made, your are ready for production. We will then finalize your pattern, grade your sizes and create a marker based on your fabric width. Your sew sample will then be ready to hand over to the production team.
Based on style requirement, cutting of garment component are done two ways such as fixed cutting and block cutting. Fixed cutting – In case excess fabric at seam lines does not required for following processes such as printing and embroidery fixed cutting is done. Block cutting is done for Printing, Embroidery and Digital Printing (Sublimation) process for some designs. In some cases, block cutting is required for few component and rest components are cut fixed shape in same lays. All components are numbered with sticker or marker and stored. Numbering is done to ensure that garment components are attached from same layer and size. Cutting auditing is done for cut components as well as bundles.
So how does sublimation work? Well, sublimation printing uses heat to essentially bring ink and fabric together as one. First, a design is printed onto special paper. The inks that are used turn into gas when brought under heat, then combine with the fabric and permanently print onto the fabric. The effects are permanent and less prone to fading, as the ink is embedded in the fabric or substrate rather than simply laying on top like a normal print. The process is almost like a tattoo, but instead of for your skin, it’s for your chosen product. The heat opens up the pores of the fabric, then with the applied pressure the ink cools and returns to a solid form. The result is a permanent, full colour image that won’t crack, peel or wash away from the substrate. The process allows the ink to go from a solid to a gas without turning to liquid, a bit like dry ice. The conversion is initiated by heat and controlled by pressure. This quick and effective digital print method is growing in popularity for smaller batch orders and those designs that rely on the details. Sublimation printing is also known as ‘all over printing’ as it allows you to choose a design that can literally go from seam to seam
Stitching is the process whereby fabric is fashioned into a finished product by means of different sewing techniques. The stitching stage holds extreme significance to ensure that the product takes its shape according to requirements. In itself a highly specialized field, stitching requires care and precision. Animate Impex equipped with the necessary high-speed precision stitching machines, the trained workforce moulds the fabrics into different sizes and shapes for varying requirements across diverse markets.
A QC inspector checks sewing quality at all workstations. Random qc ensures that each operators produce quality garment. At the end of sewing operations one check point is kept to check stitched garments prior to moving next process. 100% garments are checked in accordance with measurement chart, design and fit at this check point. Checker trims loose/uncut threads found in garments.
It is the process of application of heat, pressure and moisture to shape or crease garments or garment components into the geometric forms proposed by the designer. The pressing process influences the final garment appearance and hence the garment appeal. Finishing and pressing machines contour the semi finished garment panels as well as finished garments by bringing down the fibers in the fabric to an elastic state and then deforming and setting them.
Pressed garments are folded with tissue paper and tagged with customer instructed tags which may include hang tag, price tag and special care instruction tag. Tagged garments are packed into poly bags. Tagged and individually packed garments are sorted size and color wise. Animate Impex uses customer specified cartons (dimension) for packing garments as per specified size ratio. Customer may ask for single size packing or single color packing or mix size single color or mix size mix color packing. Packed and marked cartons are stored in ready to dispatch store.
Animate Impex always dispatch shipment through renewed international courier services like DHL, FedEx, UPS etc. As soon as shipment was picked up a tracking number is intimated to client. Every time we ensure fastest delivery of shipment.
